Description

The Senior Analyst role demands a high degree of independence and serves as the primary liaison for lease administration, ensuring the database remains current and accurate while supporting operational expense reconciliation and financial reporting.

• Act as the primary contact for interaction with all parties to keep the lease administration database current and accurate
• Complete Operational Expense Reconciliation on behalf of our clients and update our Lease Administration system
• Analyze operating expenses and reconcile them with budgeted amounts
• Review vendor invoices and coordinate with accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Identify errors and discrepancies in budgeted and actual OpEx statements when comparing with legal documents
• Identify errors and discrepancies in financial records and take corrective actions to resolve them
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all financial transactions
• Collaborate with internal teams and landlords to obtain data for reconciliations and audits
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and identify cost‑saving or cost‑avoidance opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial transactions
• Manage document workflow to ensure team responsibilities are completed in a timely manner
• Complete an audit of works completed by JLL's Lease Administration teams
• Work closely with colleagues within other Lease Administration teams to ensure workload is completed accurately and on time
• Obtain and review landlord invoices to ensure adherence to lease requirements
• Maintain processes and procedures to comply with all internal and external compliance policies
• Manage ad‑hoc projects, communicating progress and ensuring timely completion
• Train new staff members when required
• Deliver exceptional Lease Administration services
• Cross‑check and verify abstracts and system data
• Audit and review system reports and data for accuracy
• Provide relevant and accurate reporting

Requirements

• University graduate (Commerce/Finance) or equivalent lease administration experience
• 2–3 years of OpEx Recon experience (required)
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of real estate leases and accounting (useful)
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and manage accurate data
• Ability to prioritize work within tight operational and financial deadlines
• Pro‑active team member with good interpersonal skills
• Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience using a property management/lease administration system
• Basic working knowledge of OpEx Recon
• Excellent communication skills
