Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures;
Support a wide variety of projects involving environmental investigations and remediation activities;
Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; and
Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, and implementation;
Interface directly with project internal and external personnel including, but not limited to, principals, business operations personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulators.
Coordinate and implement field projects, oversee drilling, monitoring, sampling, and overseeing treatment system operations;
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
Fieldwork such as soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, aquifer testing, geophysical investigations, and remediation system O&M;

Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation;
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in geology or hydrogeology. (required)
Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)
Demonstrated strong interest in contaminant remediation and/or quantitative hydrogeology. (preferred)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
Observation of drilling and well installation, soil sampling and logging using the USCS classification, groundwater sampling, and other field techniques. (preferred)
Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting;
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (required)
Geologist in Training (GIT) certification or on track to obtain GIT. (preferred)
Prior internship experience in consulting. (preferred)
At least 2 years of professional services consulting experience that includes environmental field investigation, construction monitoring in the field, execution of Phase I/Phase II environmental assessments, evaluation of environmental data, and presentation of technical solutions; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (preferred)
Ability to multi-task and take directions with willingness to support multiple projects simultaneously. (required)
