The Sales Support Administrator (Quoting Specialist) acts as a critical liaison between customers, the laboratory, and the sales organization, delivering precise and timely quotations that meet technical, operational, and commercial requirements. The role blends analytical accuracy with strong communication to produce proposals that reflect Element’s commitment to scientific integrity and client service.
- Prepare detailed, accurate quotations for pharmaceutical testing services, including trace‑metal analysis, extractables and leachables, raw material and packaging evaluation, and method development.
- Collaborate with laboratory scientists, project managers, and sales teams to ensure quotes reflect scope, timelines, and technical requirements.
- Interpret complex testing protocols, FDA and ISO/IEC 17025 regulatory requirements, and client specifications to develop compliant cost proposals.
- Track and manage quotation requests from initiation through approval, aligning with operational capacity and client expectations.
- Support business development by providing timely, technically sound pricing to enhance client satisfaction and project success.
- Ensure all quotes and related documentation meet Element’s quality and compliance standards.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on quoting accuracy, process efficiency, and customer experience.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or related field, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Prefer prior experience in quoting, pricing, or sales support within pharmaceutical testing, analytical labs, or life‑science environments.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to translate technical data into clear, customer‑friendly proposals.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across laboratory, sales, and client teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with familiarity in CRM or ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $32‑$38 per hour, dependent on experience, and requires 100% onsite work at the Santa Fe Springs site.
