Communicates with supervisors and other related personnel as needed
Take direction and respond to supervision
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area around the baler
Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
Inspects baling equipment and promptly reports any malfunctions or maintenance needs
Maintain a clean work area
Places cardboard, plastic wrap, and plastic straps in the appropriate baler or collection point
Communicate with the lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers professionally
Fill in during staff shortage
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Locks out/Tags out (LOTO) baler in order to perform technical cleaning of the machine and rollers
Operates the baling machine and related equipment safely and efficiently
Participate in team meetings
Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
Build respectful relationships with all teammates and guests
Use proper personal protective equipment
Coordinate activities with other internal departments
Perform repetitive tasks
Follows all safety procedures and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support the shift lead in completing punch-list items

Previous experience with wire-tying bales preferred
Strong attention to safety and detail
Physically able to stand for extended periods with a minimum of 4 hours
Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
Previous experience in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) is highly preferred
PPE required (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, safety-toe shoes)
Willingness to take directions from the Facility Manager, Key Account Manager, or District Manager
Ability to safely operate equipment and follow detailed instructions
Understand customer service and satisfaction
Physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Present a professional appearance and conduct
Basic mechanical aptitude to recognize and report equipment issues
Understand reporting systems and the environment
Previous experience in a warehouse or facilities role is an asset (training provided)
