Ensures completion of regular community walks in the operating unit and works with the team to ensure that the condition and quality meet Irvine Company standards at all times. Completes audits and community inspections to ensure policies, procedures and corporate compliance are followed at all times.
Anticipates and proactively addresses resident relations and/or maintenance challenges.
Assists new/existing residents with all ICAC processes including move-in/out, transfers and renewals, FAS, lease agreements. Process resident applications, lease documents as needed. Handles resident complaints, identifies solutions and communicates to leadership.
Creates a customer service focused culture for residents, prospects, vendors and employees; responds and resolves resident requests and concerns; leads by example and ensures a proactive approach is adopted for all key customer touch points. Tracks NPS and Yelp scores daily.
Supports the Community Manager to oversee all daily operations of the operating unit’s resident services office which may include sales, move-in/outs, transfers, renewals, Final Account Statements, lease agreements, ledger adjustments, accounting month-end processes, delinquency reviews, and applications as needed and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Oversees ledger management to include adding/waiving fees and process company invoicing. Completes delinquency review, accounting month-end and process evictions according to company policy.
Responsible for the direct management of a team of Community Relations Representatives, including training and development.
Assists Community Manager with managing the financial performance of the operating unit, including budgeting, forecasting, expense control initiatives, and PO management. Monitors key performance metrics; ensure plans are in place to achieve company targets.

Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
2-4 years experience in property management; with a minimum of. 1 year experience as an Assistant Manager.
Strong business acumen with the ability to handle basic accounting principles and concepts.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
High School Diploma
Occasional travel required
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability a plus
Ability to handle frequent standing, sitting, walking, stooping, bending, climbing stairs and lifting objects of up to 20 pounds
