Preparation and review of technical approval documentation for highway and rail structures from Geotechnical Point of view.
Foster a culture of right first-time delivery and work with Project Managers/Principals to ensure effective project delivery.

Experience in and a commitment to effective management of Health, Safety and Welfare, Safety by Design.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experienced in preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative Report. Providing recommendations based on the report as bearing capacity, pile capacity, soil springs etc.
An excellent understanding of relevant international standards (e.g. Eurocodes, AASHTO, etc.).
Knowledge of the sustainable design of bridges and civil structures would be advantageous.
Commercial and financial awareness, and the ability to plan and monitor project programmes, budgets and resources to ensure delivery to time and cost constraints.
Demonstrable experience in bridge analysis, design and assessment including an ability to undertake and oversee the analysis of structures using standard industry software, such as, PLAXIS 2D/3D, MIDAS GTS NX, LPile, Rocscience RS2/RS3, or similar.
Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge about Soil strengthening, slope stabilization, slope cutting on soil & rock, settlement analysis, hydrogeology, dewatering technique.
Degree qualified in civil engineering (BE/B. Tech./ME/M. Tech./ MSc or equivalent).
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in underground structural and geotechnical works.
Understanding the use of Geotechnical Investigation report and experienced to suggest Geotechnical Investigation requirements considering the project type and country specific requirement.
Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients (written and verbal)
Agile working
General IT software skills, such as, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, ProjectWise, Bentley and Autodesk software.
Basic knowledge of structural analysis software like MIDAS Civil, STAAD Pro, Robot, SAP2000, or similar.
Proficient with construction stage analysis for underground structure and deep excavation.
Experience in the preparation of fee proposals and tender submissions would be advantageous.
Experience of managing project teams and technical leadership would be advantageous.
M.Tech or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Rock and Underground Structures, or a related field.
Experience of digital delivery tools and workflows, for example BIM, parametric design and automation.
Ability to deliver high quality design documentation including option appraisals, drawings, calculations, reports, specifications and construction documentation from Geotechnical Point of view.
