The Director of Spectrum Monitoring leads the strategic direction, management, and expansion for Spectrum Monitoring & Management (SMS). This role combines deep technical expertise with dynamic sales and product management leadership, advancing the company’s growth by developing and executing sales and product strategies, guiding a diverse sales team, overseeing the product lifecycle, and driving global market penetration.
In this role you will develop and execute comprehensive spectrum monitoring strategies aligned with sales objectives and market trends, design and implement sales and product campaigns, manage global sales channel efforts, and lead the SMS sales and product teams to identify, manage, and expand new accounts.
You will work with customers to deliver best‑value solutions, collect market trends and competitive intelligence to drive product innovation, meet decision‑makers to pursue strategic opportunities, and ensure the SMS team meets sales quotas while maintaining accurate Salesforce data and performance metrics.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining product pricing guidelines, collaborating on annual operating and growth plans, managing sales travel budgets, producing sales materials, fostering positive relationships with customers and partners, recruiting and mentoring sales staff, and representing the company at industry events.
The ideal candidate has at least ten years’ experience selling complex, large‑scale enterprise solutions, five years in a senior sales or marketing role with recent management responsibilities, and a proven record of managing multi‑million‑dollar tenders and long sales cycles. Experience with COMINT or spectrum monitoring sales, foreign government contract negotiations, and managing remote international sales teams is preferred.
Required skills include strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, interpersonal abilities, organizational and time‑management expertise, and the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them for customers. Multiple language skills and extensive global travel are also desired.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or marketing is required; a master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
