RS&H invites candidates to join as Highway Discipline Leader in San Antonio, Texas, overseeing a growing highway design group and delivering large transportation projects while expanding RS&H's Texas presence.

The leader will oversee all aspects of project delivery—including contract management, production teams, quality assurance, and financial performance—while benefiting from the nationwide “One RS&H” network that promotes internal collaboration and realistic utilization.

The ideal candidate thrives in a flexible, team‑oriented environment, possesses excellent communication, analysis and documentation skills, and is a resourceful, innovative engineer eager to make an impact.

Licensed professional engineer in Texas (or obtain reciprocity within 6 months) with a BS in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
Minimum 10‑12 years of progressive leadership experience on highway projects with construction values ≥ $20 M.
Proven experience with TxDOT and Texas municipal highway design (intersections, arterials, interstates, interchanges).
Strong organizational, quality‑control, and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MicroStation, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, PS&E package development, or corridor modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel regionally, valid driver’s license, and willingness to win roadway work as prime project manager.
