The Community Maintenance Associate ensures that the physical aspects of the community, including grounds, amenities, and curb appeal, are maintained to Greystar’s standards while providing support to the service team. The associate works closely with the Service Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure timely maintenance and resident satisfaction.
The role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (or 50 lb with assistance) in indoor and outdoor settings, regardless of weather. Employees must be available for flexible scheduling, including evening, weekend, and holiday call‑outs, and may travel occasionally to assist other properties or attend training.
The hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $20.00, with the exact rate based on business needs, experience, skills, and location. Depending on whether the position is corporate or onsite, employees may qualify for quarterly, monthly, or annual bonus programs in addition to base pay.
Full‑time team members receive comprehensive benefits, including competitive medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, low employee‑only medical costs, and generous paid time off (15 vacation days, 4 personal days, 10 sick days, 11 holidays, plus a birthday off after one year). Additional perks include onsite housing discounts, a 6‑week paid sabbatical after ten years, a 401(k) match up to 6 % after six months, paid parental leave, a lifetime fertility benefit reimbursement up to $10,000, employee assistance, critical illness and pet insurance, legal plans, and a charitable‑giving program.
