The LDAR Technician is responsible for conducting air monitoring and emissions measurement activities, performing equipment calibrations and maintenance, and collecting and organizing field data for air quality compliance and emissions assessment program. This individual is also responsible for ensuring that assessments are conducted in a timely manner to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
The LDAR Monitoring Technician is responsible for monitoring components on an assigned route within an industrial facility. By doing so, they can ensure that the equipment and systems are working properly, and that safety is maintained. This individual is also responsible for maintaining records of all events that occur within the industrial facility.
The technician inspects the facility for any gas leaks and finds any suspicious areas. The technician uses special gas analyzers or optical gas imaging cameras to identify where gas may be leaking into the atmosphere.
The Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) Technician will be responsible for office and field support of LDAR projects including Method 21 and Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) surveys.

Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
2-4 years field experience regarding technical, industrial, and/or oil and gas services (preferred) but not required.
Good client service skills, and an ability to comfortably interact with project stakeholders.
Must pass a rigorous background check and drug test.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with time home.
Must be task-oriented with the ability to maintain tight schedules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A self-starter capable of managing their own daily schedule.
Excellent analytical and communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Must have a high school diploma, general education development (GED), or equivalent (military service and/or technical degrees preferred) but not required.
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week plus possible overtime.
Someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in the great outdoors.
Able to read and understanding Piping and Instrument Diagram's (P&ID's) (preferred) but not required
Must be able to work alone, lift up to 40 lbs., work in adverse weather both hot and cold, able to climb, and work at heights up to 300 feet.
