The Leadership Development Manager will partner closely with the Director of Learning & Talent Development to drive the organization’s leadership strategy and build a strong pipeline of future-ready leaders across both field and corporate roles. This position will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of leadership development programs, coaching initiatives, and succession efforts that align with JRM’s values and long-term business goals. With high visibility and direct impact, this role offers the opportunity to shape how leadership is practiced and grown, supporting our mission to make construction a better experience.
- Oversee key talent management initiatives, including succession planning, internal mobility frameworks, and career pathing models that strengthen our leadership bench and promote long-term growth.
- Manage relationships with external coaching vendors, coordinate coaching assignments, and evaluate coaching outcomes to ensure value and consistency.
- Develop and deliver innovative, construction-relevant learning experiences for leaders at all levels, including field operations and corporate services employees
- Conduct internal coaching engagements as needed to support employee development and alignment with our leadership culture.
- Lead programs that incorporate tools such as Insights Discovery, 360° feedback, and development planning to enhance self-awareness and leadership effectiveness.
- Partner closely with company leadership to define leadership capabilities, assess development needs, and align learning solutions to business goals.

- Ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Organizational Development, HR, or related field preferred
- Strong facilitation skills and familiarity with leadership assessments such as Insights Discovery, DiSC, MBTI, or 360° tools
- ICF coaching certification (ACC, PCC, or equivalent) is preferred
- 7-10 years experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs, preferably in construction, engineering, or other field-based industries

- To the extent this position is performed in New York City, the annual salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000.
