Support, develop, and deliver various complex power system study & planning project within regulated, non-regulated, developer, or other industrial clients
Responsible for QA on client reports and deliverables
Maintaining close coordination and help other relevant Arcadis Business Units and Practices for cross selling and cross staffing opportunities. As well as Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
Perform and review power systems analysis activities including load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, electromagnetic transient, small-signal stability analysis, system impact study, reliability analysis etc.
Perform planning/system performance studies and transient studies for compliance with prevailing standards and criteria and good engineering practice.
Delivery of accurate and thorough planning, studies, system design, report summary and other client system study deliverables that will meet industry standards and specifications and meet good engineering practice with excellent constructability.

Minimum 8 years of direct experience with experience in power system study analysis and planning
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred
PE License
Must be proficient with the PSS®E, PSCAD and PSS/E software package, including load-flow, short-circuit and transient stability analysis. Experience with alternative planning software applications, including TARA, PSLF, DigSILENT, or DSA Tools, is highly desirable
Must be familiar and experienced with key North American Market Operators (i.e. MISO, PJM, NE-ISO, NY-ISO, CAISO, ERCOT, SSP, AESO, IESO) policies, guidelines, regulations, rules, model analysis, requirements and criteria as applicable to grid interconnection, performance and planning, especially related to bulk power systems.
