The Technical Writer will create and maintain a variety of documentation for business audiences and end‑users, including process guides, job aids, knowledge articles, e‑learning courseware, training materials, and visual process diagrams. They will also manage the IS Knowledge Base and Documentation Library, ensure compliance with standards and style guides, collaborate with another writer, edit content from non‑writers, and work closely with subject‑matter experts across functions.
We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to support Martin Marietta's technical documentation, IS knowledge base management and maintenance, and assorted process documentation development. The position sits within the Information Services department and requires a writing‑intensive academic background.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a writing‑focused field, have at least three years of technical writing experience—preferably in an IS or corporate environment—and demonstrate strong writing, editing, and detail‑orientation. Proficiency in MS Office, MadCap Flare, iSpring, ServiceNow and related tools, as well as the ability to learn complex subjects, work independently, and stay organized, is required.
