Serve as Engineer of Record on aviation infrastructure projects
Support business development efforts such as proposals and interviews
Lead coordination with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors
Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support
Oversee and review construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
Ensure compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars, TxDOT Aviation guidelines, and local regulations
Coordinate project scope, schedule, budget, and resources with internal and external stakeholders
Lead design and delivery of civil engineering projects at airports including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, and access roadways
Mentor and support junior engineers, EITs, and CAD designers
Requirements

Experience with software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Knowledge of FAA and TxDOT Aviation standards and processes
Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experience
Knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations
Professional engineer license (PE)
Ability to lead project design start to finish, considering time, cost and resources
Possess strategic and effective delegation skills
Familiarity with FAA AIP funding
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
