Attending sites prior to the carpentry team and survey the site for access, health and safety, material storage, specifications of work accuracy against third party information
Quantity survey for materials required to complete the works.
Attending client sites and inspect fire doors line with the ‘UKAS BlueSky Certification scheme', Government guidance and the manufacture technical installation or O&M guidance.
To handover accepted inspection reports to the passive fire projects manager.
Meet with clients on site to discuss site requirements and individual client needs.

Minimum of 3 years experience in a like for like or similar role.
Approved document B, BS 476-22 and BS 8214.
Comprehensive knowledge of passive fire door systems and products such as Flamebreak, Premdor and Vicaima.
Knowledge of the 2021 Fire Safety Act
Marlowe Smoke Control
Must have a good understanding of third-party accreditation requirements in this field
