Demonstrate an advanced understanding of various surveys (topographic mapping, boundary plats, highway plans, roadway stationing, plan & profile, cross sections, horizontal & vertical curves, construction drawings, as-built surveys, and pipeline plans.
Surveyor-in-Training (LSI, LSIT, SIT) certification
Requires the ability to safely operate and drive company vehicles.
Understand traffic control operations based on field activities.
Advanced understanding of point code-driven linework & construction staking
Advanced knowledge of Trimble surveying instruments & data collectors
Ability to travel (approximately 80%).
AutoCAD C3D and/or MicroStation ORD experience

High School diploma or equivalent.
Requires lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, climbing, pushing, pulling, hammering, digging, and other physical activities.
Advanced understanding of metes & bounds or the Public Land Survey System (PLSS).
Complete math skills, including trigonometry, geometry, algebra, surveying coordinates, and surveying computations.
Previous safety training (OSHA, First-Aid, Confined Space)
Proficient with GPS Systems, Robotic Total Stations, and Data Collectors.
Ability to operate in a mentor/mentee team atmosphere.
Requires the ability to work in various terrain & weather conditions and recognize safety hazards.
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of principles for performing basic field activities such as topographic mapping, boundary corner recovery, public land surveys (PLSS), metes & bound surveys, construction surveys, energy projects, and aerial mapping.
