- Conduct quality reviews of engineering reports and construction documents
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers throughout all phases of a project
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, estimates, and calculation packages
- Provide project coordination support across disciplines and help manage deadlines and deliverables
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, and project scoping
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team culture
- Support structural inspections, evaluations, and load capacity ratings
- Perform structural modeling, analysis, and design for bridges and other transportation infrastructure projects
- Review fabrication drawings and perform construction plan reviews

- Solid understanding of bridge design standards and structural engineering principles
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with model-based design and tools like:
- Experience in project/task management
- Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in managing multiple tasks
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in at least some structural analysis/design tools such as Mathcad, STAAD Pro, AASHTOWare, LARSA 4D, MDX, SP Column, MerlinDASH, etc.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Infraworks, or Inventor
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)
- 3–5+ years of experience in structural bridge and/or transportation design
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
