The Summer Internship Program is open to applicants planning careers in architecture, structural & sustainable engineering, urban planning, graphic design, or interior design. Interns will spend the summer learning from experts across design disciplines, building design and visualisation skills, and contributing to world‑class projects. They will participate in a wide range of in‑person and virtual learning opportunities and events. The program runs from June 8, 2026 until August 14, 2026.
Candidates must be current students in an accredited bachelor's or master's program in architecture or a related field and be returning to school in the Autumn of 2026. Some experience in the architectural profession or associated arts is preferred. Strong design capabilities must be demonstrated through a portfolio or work samples. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and visualization software is required, along with the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Applicants must be returning to school in Autumn 2026 to be considered for a summer internship at SOM. Those who do not submit work samples will not be reviewed. The application deadline is January 19, 2026.
