As a Civil Project Manager you will guide land-development projects from conceptual design through construction and final completion, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring quality outcomes for clients. You act as the public face of CEI, engaging with clients, contractors, and local officials throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities include developing repeat business by delivering high-quality work and exceptional service.
Collaboration is key; you will coordinate staff, design teams, and external partners, reviewing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, water-quality measures, and utility designs. You will also manage quality-control reviews, monitor budgets, and lead your team to successful project delivery.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or a related field and possess at least four years of land-site development experience, including utilities, drainage, and entitlement work. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is required, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel overnight. A professional engineer (PE) or landscape architect (LA) license is preferred but not mandatory.
