Requirements

The company is seeking motivated Advanced Locate Technicians who will travel to job sites, operate specialized equipment, and accurately locate and mark all underground utilities, including hard‑to‑find and exotic systems. Technicians are expected to troubleshoot using strong observational and deductive reasoning skills, maintain safety standards, and communicate professionally with site contacts and team members.

Applicants must have at least two years of utility locating experience, strong communication abilities, and be comfortable with Windows‑based computers and Microsoft Office. • Troubleshoot and verify utility locations using advanced observational and deductive reasoning skills.
• 2+ years experience as a public or private utility locator; engineering or SUE firm experience a plus.
• Proven accuracy in locating multiple utility types across various environments.
• Strong communication, customer service, and proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload, and travel daily to job sites.
• Willingness to work overtime, after‑hours, and occasional overnight travel as needed.
