The Facilities Specialist is responsible for the property management including maintenance and refurbishment of property owned, occupied and leased by Western Power, such as houses, offices, depots and network facilities.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine replacement and refurbishment of property assets.
- Plan and prioritize maintenance and replacement of physical property assets owned, occupied or leased by Western Power.
- Support delivery and maintenance of a comprehensive property asset management framework.
- Follow processes for planning and prioritising property development, security, maintenance, and replacement activities.
- Assist in developing business strategy for future property and accommodation requirements.
- Contribute to planning, budgeting and reporting processes.
- Support enterprise risk management.
- Contribute to safety, health, environmental and community programs.

The ideal candidate holds tertiary qualifications in asset management, planning or a related discipline, or has extensive industry experience, and brings at least five years of knowledge in property, security or facilities management, including planning of facilities services and delivering solutions that support business strategies.
Final stages of recruitment require background and assessment checks, including a recent police clearance, document and reference verification, and a medical assessment. Applications close on 23 January 2026.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in asset management, planning or property‑related discipline, or possess extensive industry experience.
- Provide at least five years of experience in property, security or facilities management, including knowledge of relevant legislative requirements.
- Experience in planning facilities management services.
- Demonstrated ability to plan or deliver facility solutions that support business strategies.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate organisation and time‑management skills to handle multiple priorities.
