In this role you will oversee the creation of Integrated Resource Plans, coordinating inputs from external contributors, designing modeling studies, and preparing testimony for regulatory proceedings. You will also engage with external stakeholders as required by state‑specific rules.
The position demands expert knowledge of production‑cost and resource‑optimization models, Regional Transmission Organization rules, and a broad range of generation supply and demand alternatives such as energy efficiency, demand response, and intermittent resources. You will produce reports, guide analyses, and communicate complex concepts to internal and external audiences.
Technical proficiency in energy‑planning platforms (PLEXOS, Promod, Aurora), advanced Excel, and programming languages (Python, R, MATLAB, SAS, SQL) is essential, with Power BI knowledge preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to automate reporting are also required.
Compensation includes a base salary of $87K–$127K plus competitive total‑rewards such as incentives, 401(k), pension, health insurance, vacation and educational assistance.
