Construction Superintendent- Hospitality

Description

• Coordinate inspections and interface with city, county, and regulatory officials throughout all phases of construction.
• Provide consistent project updates to Project Managers including milestones, risks, coordination items, and schedule impacts.
• Direct all daily field operations for ground-up hotel construction projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation including job logs, daily reports, and project correspondence.
• Ensure overall project success through disciplined oversight of safety, budget, quality, staffing, and timelines.
• Enforce rigorous jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings to ensure full compliance.
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules; determine sequencing and logistics plans.
• Lead and mentor field teams including Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify issues early, resolve field challenges, and keep the project moving efficiently.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up hotel construction projects from pre-construction through final turnover. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated success managing complex hospitality builds, maintaining strict safety and quality standards, and consistently delivering projects on schedule and within budget. This role requires a disciplined field leader with exceptional communication skills and deep expertise in hotel construction.

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and oversee teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Procore or comparable construction management platforms, along with Microsoft Office.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent managing ground-up construction; hotel or hospitality project experience strongly preferred.
