Supporting the Planning Manager to prepare evidence on behalf of Connexa for Resource Consent and Policy Planning Hearing
Supporting site acquisition operations to ensure the procedures are kept updated to continually improve efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
Contributing to the development, implementation and improvement of systems and processes to streamline site acquisition procedures, including efficiencies and standardisation in planning framework.
Providing clear and concise RMA consenting advice to support passive infrastructure build projects and requests for RMA related assistance.
Assisting with submissions on proposed Policy documents such as District Plans and National Legislation changes
Engaging with Local and Central Government on initiatives to improve the delivery of telecommunications infrastructure alongside the Planning Manager
Preparing quality and consistent resource management applications nationally from inception to completion; working with District and Regional councils, lodging applications and managing the process through to the granting of consent
Communicating with the public, businesses and Council about locations or potential locations of new towers
Building constructive and collaborative external relationships through proactive contact and networking

Excellent understanding of the Resource Management Act with willingness to keep up to date with current and future legislation changes
A creative approach to problem-solving
Previous professional experience with Resource Consent Planning, ideally with a focus on infrastructure
Member of the New Zealand Planning Institute or eligible for membership
Ability to build relationships with local councils and stakeholders
Degree or tertiary qualification in Resource Management, Urban Planning or related discipline
Fantastic communication skills in all formats
