Shall make employees and subcontractors aware of any special conditions or hazards in existence. These special conditions may include special safety requirements because of operating practices, electrical hazards, mechanical hazards, hazardous materials, or other site-specific conditions.
Shall advise Project Management and employees in safe work practices, while supplying the information necessary to comply with Morley Moss Safety Procedures, the project safety requirements and Local, State or Federal regulations.
Shall coordinate with the Project Management to ensure that injured/ill employees are escorted by a Manager to the pre-determined medical clinic with the proper paperwork and forms completed.
Has the authority to “stop the work” of Morley-Moss crews or their subcontractors when he/she observes at-risk work practices or unsafe conditions.
Must monitor and analyze data and solve problems on a tactical and strategic level.
Effectively handle stressful situations and deadlines
Shall ensure that all Incident Reports are submitted to the Safety Department and the Contractor within 24 hours of the occurrence, or sooner if required by the Project.
Shall routinely inspect the project for the purpose of discovering at-risk work practices and unsafe conditions that could lead to an Incident, Near-miss or violation of the Company or Project Health and Safety Procedures and requirements.
Shall immediately report all Incidents and Near-misses to the Project Management, Safety Department and Contractor. This includes Incidents or Near-misses involving:
