This role is ideal for someone who is technically exceptional, enjoys complex design delivery, and wants to support and mentor a growing HV engineering function—without the pressure of work-winning or BD targets.
Security: SC Clearance (or ability to obtain) essential
- Eligibility for SC Clearance (or existing clearance) – essential.
- Extensive experience in HV design up to 33 kV, with strong technical capability at detailed design (RIBA Stage-4).
- Could suit a current Associate, Associate Director, or Technical Director seeking progression or a more delivery-focused leadership role.
- Carry out HV network modelling and analysis using ETAP (essential).
- Strong experience producing calculations, performing protection studies, fault analysis, load flow studies, and earthing design.
- Proficiency with ETAP for modelling, coordination, and system studies – essential.
- Experience working within private networks, such as:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) – mandatory.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver complex HV projects independently while supporting and guiding a team.

Note: This is a delivery and technical leadership role—no expectation for business development or bringing in work although it would be a bonus.
Salary: £80,000 – £100,000
