Diagnose faults and inspect fixed and mobile plant equipment (Asphalt fixed plant, conveyors, pugmills, loaders)
Assist with rebuilds, shutdowns, and parts ordering
Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant systems
Carry out welding repairs (MIG, Stick, Arc) and general metalwork (cutting, grinding, drilling)
Perform general fitting and turning tasks, including machining, part replacement, and fabrication
Collaborate with site supervisors and operators to reduce downtime
Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate service records

Have a Forklift or Dogman ticket (highly regarded, not essential)
Are safety-conscious, efficient, and team-oriented
Ideally have experience with fixed plant equipment
Are a qualified Fitter/Turner or Boilermaker (Cert III Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
Hold a valid White Card (or are willing to obtain one)
