- Work on utility poles and fixtures in energized situations
- Frame transformer banks, rotate three‑phase secondary/services, and troubleshoot overhead lines
- Perform tree trimming, multimeter operations, use line test equipment, cut‑outs and reclosures, advanced rigging, line repair with rubber gloves and hot sticks
- Follow safety performance requirements
- Assist with URD installations, overhead line installation and removal, safety in URD maintenance, voltage regulators, rigging for high voltage and transformer connections
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Work performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
- Provide valid US work authorization documents for E‑Verify

The Lineman B2 position involves building multiphase energized facilities, reporting to the crew Foreman, and requires at least three and a half years of experience in the electrical powerline industry.
- Demonstrate proper cover application, handle energized multiphase primary conductors, and work around covered multiphase lines
- Read job prints and build to spec
- Complete required company training, including safety training
- Minimum 3.5 years in the electrical powerline industry
- Possess all skills required for a Lineman B1
- Understand basic electricity and proper use, care, and maintenance of hot sticks
- Pass competency evaluation before promotion and participate in the Apprenticeship Training Program
- All safety instructions provided in English; fluency required
- Physical tasks include repeated lifting (up to 50 lb overhead), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching and crawling
- Requires quick, accurate hand‑eye coordination and constant alertness for safety
- Pass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
- Satisfactory pre‑employment background check results
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Pre‑employment medical fit‑for‑duty test; hold or obtain DOT medical card
