The Role
Overview
Inspect construction sites for PennDOT and Turnpike projects, ensure compliance
Key Responsibilities
- record keeping

Tasks
-Gathers and maintains record documents -Makes field notes and computations -Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and/or pavement to ensure compliance to plans and codes. -Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations. -Performs routine tests on concreate, soils and other materials

What You Bring
-1-4 years of Construction Inspection Experience -High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted for experience) -Computer proficiency -Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management -Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening -Active driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle
