- Developing Reporting Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting strategy to ensure asset data processes meet regulatory and organisational asset management obligations.
- KPI Development: Define and evolve a suite of KPIs focused on asset data quality, integrity, and exception management across all asset data processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Lead the preparation of presentations and responses to internal and external information requests, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Insight-Driven Decision Making: Analyse and interpret reporting outputs to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in operational and data processes.
- Governance of Reporting Frameworks: Oversee the creation, development, and controlled issuance of reports and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enabling informed decision-making.
- Relationship Management: Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders across SPEN to support collaboration and drive organisational success.
- Advanced Analytics Enablement: Support the adoption of innovative analytical tools and technologies to enhance reporting capabilities and identify opportunities for value-added initiatives.
- Asset Data Insight: Build a deep understanding of SPEN’s asset data inventory and its implications for business performance and regulatory reporting.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Experience in the electricity distribution/transmission industry, particularly in network asset management.
- Proficiency in data visualisation and analytical tools, including Power BI and Azure Synapse.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in business analytics, data reporting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and align diverse stakeholder perspectives.
- Proven experience in producing detailed analysis, strategic reports, and executive-level presentations.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Expertise in enterprise systems and asset data management platforms.
