Dewberry is seeking an Environmental Project Manager for its Richmond, Virginia office. The role combines technical, project management, and marketing responsibilities to lead environmental projects within the power industry's distribution, transmission, and generation sectors. Candidates with experience in planning or permitting for the power sector are especially encouraged to apply.
Candidates must hold a BS degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, or a related field and possess 5–10 years of progressive project and client responsibility experience. Required skills include project management, marketing, strong communication, the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and the capacity to interact with clients while managing budgets and schedules. Technical expertise to support design staff and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation are valuable. A team‑oriented mindset and knowledge of environmental regulations such as Chesapeake Bay submissions and NEPA are also essential.
Preferred qualifications include environmental mitigation design experience, DCR E&S certification, and a 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
