Primary duties include testing raw materials, in‑process control samples, and final products, applying analytical controls to verify identity and quality, and ensuring equipment cleaning specifications prevent cross‑contamination. Results are communicated to production and process engineers, and the laboratory iLIMS system is used for sample tracking, instrument calibration, and stability testing.
Secondary responsibilities involve supporting process development, troubleshooting, analytical method development, handling environmental samples, and assisting quality‑system activities. Additional tasks include maintaining GMP documentation, calibrating analytical instruments, performing non‑routine testing for CAPA investigations, managing raw material and product retention, supplying the laboratory, and overseeing waste disposal and chemical‑hygiene compliance.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a related field, be able to work third shift and train first‑shift staff, and possess knowledge of analytical chemistry and GMP. Preferred experience is 0‑3 years in a chemical manufacturing environment, with strong attention to detail, communication, computer (Excel, Word) and organizational skills.
