Reporting to the Project Engineering Supervisor, the Project Engineer I manages capital equipment projects from order receipt through shipment and final documentation. The role involves reviewing project requirements, developing design plans, creating and reviewing submittals and manufacturing documents, and coordinating all technical activities to ensure project accuracy, quality, and on‑time completion.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, has at least two years of related experience, and possesses strong skills in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), machine design, and the MS Office suite. Effective time management, prioritization, and communication abilities are essential, and EIT/PE certification is preferred.
All new hires must complete safety training, and ongoing safety modules are provided and tracked by the EHS Manager. Employees are required to wear Nikkiso‑provided personal protective equipment as needed, with non‑compliance subject to disciplinary action.
