Maintain accurate asset, service, and defect records within the CMMS
Ensure all activities align with WHS legislation, BGIS systems, and heritage requirements
Define scopes of work and oversee specialist subcontractors for complex or highly specialised tasks
Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to a junior HVAC technician
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, split systems, ventilation and associated plant
Coordinate workloads to ensure maintenance activities are completed within agreed timeframes
Diagnose and resolve faults within licence scope, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently
Work collaboratively with site stakeholders, providing clear technical advice and recommendations
Support first-level monitoring and fault finding for Building Management Systems (BMS)

Exposure to asset management or lifecycle planning
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior or autonomous HVAC technician role (all levels encouraged to apply)
Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
Trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical Services
Experience supporting or coordinating other technicians or subcontractors
Experience maintaining complex commercial HVAC systems
Certificate IV in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
Familiarity with BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or Johnson Controls
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Experience in heritage, government, defence, or public-facing facilities
Additional safety credentials (Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP, First Aid)
Restricted Electrical Licence (ACT)
