Keep daily diaries and logs, provide input to weekly and monthly reporting.
Performs project assurance of quantity surveys for tracking, reporting, and contractor payment purposes.
Under general supervision, performs routine duties on site during the course of the construction workday.
Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design and raises issues to the Senior Construction Manager.
Will chair progress meetings, if necessary, and keep accurate notes for team’s creation of minutes.
Participates in safety programs as required, both internally (AECOM’s) and externally (Contractor’s) assurance of adherence.
Under general supervision, monitor and document construction activities of the construction contractor(s) to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications with a focus on a particular package but as needed assisting across construction various packages.
Assures quality control measures are in place and being followed through a formal quality assurance process to be developed.
Prepare and submit a daily inspection report to AECOM’s Senior Construction Manager.
Compares materials and equipment installed with approved submittals, shop drawings, requests for information, and change orders and take appropriate action if unapproved materials or equipment are utilized.

Success in working with remote teams.
Experience working as part of a field PMCM team.
Familiarity with the Baltimore, MD area.
Displays knowledge and abilities to perform daily quality assurance inspections to assure the contractor’s workmanship meets industry standards, is high quality, and that materials and equipment meet or exceed the requirements of the plans and specifications.
PE registration.
BA/BS in Engineering, Construction or related field + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Valid U.S Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.
Relevant Field Experience preferred.
Experience in port and marine terminal development.
Experience working with a PMIS (Procore, etc.).
Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications and plans.
