In this role you will support the Gleeds Tax team in delivering taxation allowances and insurance services. The role includes surveying commercial and residential properties around the UK.

- Producing key documents and reports.
- Liaison with clients, designers, other consultancies, and contractors – attending and arranging meetings and day to day project correspondence.
- Learn how construction and property projects are structured in a tax-efficient way.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax law that affect the construction industry.
- Gain experience advising on tax relief for building works, refurbishments, and property sales, support in preparing claims for capital allowances.
- Work with clients, surveyors, and project teams to build tax efficiency into project planning.
- Collation of project information.
- Representing Gleeds and our clients.
- Assist with Land Remediation Relief claims for brownfield and contaminated land projects.
- Help identify opportunities for R&D tax relief on new construction methods and technologies.
- Undertaking site surveys across the UK.
- Help with paperwork and application processes

A degree or masters (completed or completing by August 2026) within quantity surveying, building surveying real estate or construction management, ideally RICS accredited.
