The Change Management Consultant role is within the Strategy & Transformation Consulting family, requiring up to 75% travel and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The consultant will support an EHR implementation and lead the development of Organizational Change Management capabilities for an enterprise IT consolidation initiative. This includes creating and driving change management strategies for public sector IT transformations and building relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Key responsibilities involve coordinating the preparation and execution of OCM plans, designing communications to keep the organization informed, and managing change impacts across various personas. The consultant will evaluate and implement process improvements, guide client conversations toward effective outcomes, and educate business partners on the value of change management. Additional duties include developing work products, identifying improvement opportunities, creating presentation materials, and collaborating with stakeholders to track initiative progress.
The position requires at least a bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of change management experience, with a preference for candidates who have five or more years. Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to obtain a Public Trust clearance and proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Strong client‑facing abilities, organizational skills, the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, teamwork, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a related field such as Public Health, Health Administration, or Business Administration, as well as experience with health‑care information technology consulting or large‑scale IT transformation projects. Experience with the Department of Defense or the Military Health System, along with PROSCI or CCMP certifications, would be advantageous.
The annual salary ranges from $89,000 to $148,000, with compensation determined by factors such as experience, clearances, and certifications.
