Proposes best combination of equipment based on customer requirements. Identifies gaps between requirements and available performance. Using data available on proposed installation site and conducts site modeling to determine equipment type, configuration, predicted performance and correct location for placement. Works with a variety of possible equipment configurations to answer client questions of “can this be built, can we supply it, can we design it, can we purchase the components, what accessories are needed, etc.”
- Generate an ongoing compliance matrix based on customer specifications and applicable rules, laws, and regulations
- Selection of in-house and third-party products to meet customer requirements
- Trade study analysis to balance cost and performance of the proposed solution
- Review customer tender documents to decide bid/no bid status on contracts
- Generation of compliance matrix between costumer and product requirements
- Reviews Technical Publications documentation for final approval.
- Using site modeling software to analyze all data provided and recommend placement of equipment.
- Learn and interpret local, regional, geographical, and global rules, laws, and regulations regarding aviation equipment installation parameters
- Propose network architecture in compliance to customer’s requirement and site infrastructure including backhaul communications
- Detailed reports of analysis will be prepared to discuss equipment placement and further siting preparation required to ensure satisfactory operation of recommended equipment.
- Respond to Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ)
- Maintains proprietary configuration definition tool.
- Translate client requirements into actionable construction proposals for Instrument Landing, Distance Measuring, and/or Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Doppler Radar, or Other Related Systems.
- Composes and updates product documentation for new and existing product lines when changes arise or new designs are developed.
- Clarify if client specifications can be met based on applicable rules, laws, and regulations
- Lead compliance meetings with stakeholders
- Prepare detailed BOM of proposed solution to support Bids and Proposals
