- Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
- Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.
- Production of contract documents including plans and specifications.
- Process modeling for wastewater treatment and resource recovery systems for biosolids, energy, and nutrient management.
- Prepare construction and design cost estimates.
- Perform engineering duties in planning and designing water and wastewater pipelines, storage, and treatment systems.
- Make site visits during design and construction to observe the construction installation.

- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s/Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
- Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
- Demonstrated experience with advanced treatment systems including chemical feed, membranes, and disinfection systems.
- Professional Licensure and Society Memberships
- A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
- TX PE is required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work and communicate well will other design disciplines.
- Experience working with local municipalities and utility companies.
- Familiarity with production tools, or modeling and design software is a plus.
- Experience in water and wastewater systems is required.
