Director of Data & Analytics

Description

The Director of Data & Analytics will lead the development and implementation of the organization's enterprise data framework to support data-driven decisions across the platform. Qualified candidates will have proven expertise in real estate analytics, sophisticated data tools, and people leadership.

• Establish and maintain company-wide data governance standards, ensuring data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance across all systems and platforms.
• Translate reporting data into actionable insights for asset management, accounting, property management, centralized operations, human resources, underwriting, and executive leadership.
• Create data strategy and set best practices for data usage, reporting standards, and continuous innovation.
• Work cross-departmentally to embed analytics into core business processes and workflows.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-caliber analytics team.
• Utilize Python, AI-driven tools, and advanced analytical methodologies to enhance underwriting models, forecasting, and predictive decision support.
• Develop dynamic dashboards and reporting solutions, leveraging PowerBI and Excel to support both recurring and ad hoc analyses.
• Oversee the firm's data ecosystem, including Azure-based infrastructure, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server environments, ETL pipelines, and system-to-system API integrations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in real estate analytics and financial modeling.
• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (Masters preferred).
• Proficiency in PowerBI, Azure, SQL, Python, MS Excel, and data modeling softwares.
• +7 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
