Description

• Cut aluminum extrusions to length according to fabrication tickets and drawings.
• Accurately read tape measures and safely use power tools such as saws, drills, and punches.
• Drill extrusions and install accessories.
• Maintain fabrication and safety equipment.
• Develop mechanical skills, learn new techniques, and stay current with product requirements.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform other projects and duties, including occasional company vehicle driving.
• Fabricate aluminum curtain wall and storefront material.
• Prepare aluminum doors and install hardware.
• Conduct site visits for service, warranty work, and measurements.
• Maintain reliable transportation and punctuality.

Requirements

The objective of this position is to accurately fabricate aluminum products such as curtain wall and storefront. The successful individual will work as part of a customer‑focused team and thrive in a fast‑paced environment that requires open and effective communication across multiple disciplines.

Candidates must have experience fabricating aluminum curtain wall and storefront material, preparing aluminum doors, and installing hardware, as well as be comfortable with site visits for service, warranty work, and measurements. They must read tape measures accurately, operate power and hand tools safely, lift up to 75 lb, and hold a valid clean Class 5 driver’s licence with reliable transportation. Strong English communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
