Pipeline Achievement
The company has built pipelines with a diameter of 1,300 mm and has expertise in marine pipeline installation.
  • Founded in 1961 by visionary New Zealand engineers, the company set out to build smarter and bolder than before.
  • From its roots in pipeline and marine works, it expanded through Asia, Australia and the Middle East in its early decades.
  • It went public in the 1980s, then refocused on core engineering after the financial crash reshaped its strategy.
  • Acquired by Aveng in 2003, the firm rode the mining and infrastructure boom, delivering large-scale energy and resource projects.
  • It tackles complex assignments—from metro tunnels and LNG facilities to desalination plants and cruise terminals.
  • Its specialties include building, civil works, electrical, fabrication, marine, mechanical, pipeline, rail, tunnel and underground construction.
  • Unusual facts: it’s built pipelines over 1,300 mm in diameter, pulled marine pipelines offshore, and completed award‑winning light‑rail and ferry wharf projects.
