- Identify and manage environmental and social risks across projects in varying stages of development to ensure legislative requirements are met
- Provide technical support within the business, in particular, to site project teams in the identification and management of environmental and social issues, including obtaining post DA secondary environmental approvals
- Support the tender process by providing environmental and social technical input for projects, including the coordination, management, and review of technical specialists
- Work as part of an integrated team to further develop and maintain the Integrated Management System including the development of procedures and associated documentation
- Undertake inspections, audits and investigation support to projects, as required
- Develop, monitor and report on key environmental and sustainability performance indicators through the delivery of projects
- Prepare and review environmental assessment, risk assessment (due diligence), approval and construction environmental management plan documentation for renewable energy projects across Australia
- Liaison with clients, government, regulatory authorities on environmental and sustainability issues
- Provide support and guidance across the business to ensure a deep understanding of environmental and social issues, opportunities, and risks

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor for BESS Project in Sydney.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of Federal, NSW and other jurisdictions for environmental impact assessment, permitting and approval legislation
- Current driver’s license
- Excellent written, communication, presentation, time management, and organisational skills, including fluency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project PowerPoint)
- 5+ years’ experience in environmental assessment, approvals, and onsite construction environmental management
- Proven experience working in multidisciplinary project/program teams on a range of projects, clients, and internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, planning, management, or engineering.
