Description

The Financial Risk Management & Compliance Subject Matter Expert provides independent, objective assurance that our Client Finance Services—including Integrated Facilities Management and Project & Development Services—comply with SOCR, SOX and JLL policies and procedures. The role involves examining financial records, reviewing controls, and communicating findings with supervisors and the broader finance team.

Key performance expectations include working within established procedures with moderate supervision, identifying problems, assessing issues using standard methods, and making sound decisions. The specialist also supports junior staff, reviews their work in the supervisor’s absence, and contributes to continuous improvement of quality standards.

• Examine and review financial records, reports, controls, policies, and practices affecting financial condition and results.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, the Client Finance team, and FRMC members; handle entity queries.
• Review and test compliance (SOCR, SOX, JLL processes) of month‑end financial close packages.
• Keep manager informed of activities and proactively suggest updates or changes.
• Review junior team members’ work, provide guidance, training, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Check financial controls and procedures regularly and ensure access compliance is completed and reviewed.
• Drive calls with clients and stakeholders independently.
• Work on‑site in Gurugram with a 40‑hour weekly schedule.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting and professional qualifications such as CA, CS or CMA, with 6–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial analysis or audit. Strong communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to quickly learn new systems (JD Edwards a plus) are essential.

• Understand accounting processes for different contract types and their impact on financials.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce/accounting and CA, CS, or CMA certification.
• Possess 6–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial analysis or audit with internal controls testing.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new systems (JD Edwards a plus).
• People‑handling experience is a plus.
