Manufacturing Technician Kiln Wed-Sat Nights (P)

Description

• Filling out kiln load maps to track where in the kilns the cores are located and inspecting the cores for any potential defects.
• Loading and unloading ovens using both forklift and other lifting devices.
• Operating electric and gas kilns.
• Recording collected data from testing into the correct location.
• Cleaning, maintaining the unpack and kiln room and equipment for organization and safety.

Requirements

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Knowledge of or interest in industrial machinery, able to perform basic math functions using metric system and to read Engineering instructions.
• Evidence of a completed High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
