Quality Assurance Manager (Site-Based)

Description

• Serve as the owner’s representative for construction projects, providing QA guidance to all management levels.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the overall QA system to ensure effectiveness and compliance with client and internal procedures.
• Prepare, execute, and report on internal and external audits, identifying improvements and training needs.
• Conduct compliance assessments, staff interviews, and collaborate with management to enhance QA methods and training.
• Assist construction teams in meeting project quality requirements and deliver QA training as needed.
• Plan and participate in site visits to field locations, vendor facilities, and manufacturing sites; respond to off‑hours incidents on a rotational basis.

Requirements

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a site‑based Quality Assurance Manager for its Lovelock, NV operations. The position requires prior experience managing quality practices in a mining environment and will serve as the owner’s representative on construction projects.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and at least seven years of QA‑related technical experience.
• Possess three years of experience in a QA management role, preferably in mining‑related projects, and a minimum of one quality certification (e.g., ASQ CMQ/OE, CQA, CQE, Six Sigma, ISO).
• Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with proficiency in computer software.

Benefits
