Junior Health and Safety Advisor

Description

• Assist in the maintenance of the company legal register.
• Update and maintain all records associated with the Health & Safety management system.
• Review and implement Health & Safety management procedures.
• Review and implement client Health & Safety standards & procedures.
• Review and comment on Subcontractor’s RAMS.
• Review and implement Construction Health and Safety Plans.
• Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.
• Provide monthly HSQE report.
• Support the investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences, maintaining proper records and complying with and reporting to relevant bodies.
• Ensure compliance with all current legislation, including codes of practice and relevant standards.
• Arrange, co-ordinate, and minute site Health and Safety meetings and capture action plans.
• Arrange, prepare, and carry out site inductions.

Requirements

Ayrton Group have a requirement for a Junior Health and Safety Advisor working with our client, a leading building technologies and energy solutions company. This position will involve visiting various pharmaceutical sites within the Cork region.

• You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
• 1+ year experience within the Health & Safety construction industry.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative.
• Recognised qualification in Health and Safety, or similar.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
