Project Architect / Senior Project Specialist

Description

As an Project Architect or Senior Project Specialist, your responsibilities will only be limited by your ability & your desire. However, the main responsibility of this position will be to provide support to your Project Team(s) in all phases of a project lifecycle – from Conceptual Design through Construction Administration.

• Direct & mentor less experienced/skilled Team Members.
• Assist project designers in developing designs & design documents in the Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, and Design Development phases;
• Perform QA/QC Reviews of other Team Members’ work;
• Prepare presentation materials;
• Produce and/or assist in the production of Construction Documents, and Specifications;
• Research equipment, products, & materials;
• Communicate with Clients, Consultants, Contractors, etc. in coordination with Project Manager;
• Coordinate work progress and review completed work with project QA/QC checklists;
• Produce, coordinate, and submit plan review packages;
• Perform & document code reviews & analysis;
• Assist with and/or lead Construction Administration responsibilities;
• Participate in internal & external meetings & produce meeting minutes;
• Review & coordinate consultant documents;
• Set-up initial project models in Revit software;

Requirements

• Some relevant experience working with, or for, private developer clients and/or similar architectural markets;
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software;
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite Software;
• Demonstrated technical knowledge, soft skills, and emotional intelligence to effectively direct and mentor less experienced / skilled team members;
• Substantial experience/knowledge with Revit;
• Experience with AutoCAD software;
• The ability to prioritize & execute a variety of tasks within a single project and across multiple projects;
• Experience with Sketch-Up software;
