Design Engineer

Description

• Develop mechanical designs for plumbing systems in multifamily and residential projects.
• For multi-unit projects, support both plumbing and HVAC design.
• Apply basic electrical knowledge as needed for mechanical system integration.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure designs meet practical construction requirements.
• Assist with coordination of designs and construction drawings.
• Support the preparation of submittals, specifications, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Familiarity with plumbing systems; HVAC knowledge a plus for multifamily projects.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems is helpful.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in residential or multi-unit/multifamily construction preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
