In this position you will lead high‑impact programmes within the DigIT portfolio, focusing on cyber security and infrastructure/operations. Reporting to senior IT leadership, you will manage complex, multi‑disciplinary initiatives that align technical deliverables with business objectives and ensure strategic outcomes are achieved.
Key responsibilities include leading and delivering complex programmes, tracking and realising benefits, managing dependencies, and overseeing the transition of technical solutions into operational use. You will also provide financial and governance oversight and mentor less‑experienced project managers.
Rolls‑Royce SMR is seeking a Programme Manager – Infrastructure/Operations and Cyber Security to work in Derby on a hybrid schedule (two days in the office). The role offers a salary between £73,100 and £95,944 and is part of a team driving digital transformation, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity for the company’s Small Modular Reactor technology.
The ideal candidate holds a recognised qualification such as MSP®, PgMP®, PMP® or equivalent, and has proven programme‑management experience in fast‑paced environments. Strong stakeholder engagement, financial governance, risk management, and a high level of IT proficiency are essential, as is the ability to blend technical and business goals.
Applicants will undergo additional nuclear‑industry security screening, which includes BPSS clearance, a DBS check, and a basic financial probity check.
